Fitness has always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I spent 3 years on the Ferris State University COED Cheerleading Team and 2 years as the head coach. I taught various BootCamp and cardio classes, conditioning camps and strength training classes throughout my college years.
After graduating college I began my career in business development where I spent the last 14 years working in the creative industry selling visualization services.
In 2017, I decided to offer private one-on-one sessions out of my home. With surprise baby #3 on the way, it was now or never. Within 1 month of offering private training sessions, I had clients requesting small group sessions. In 6 short months, I had 2 treadmills, 2 benches, 2 TRX stations, and 50 clients. With 2 other kids, a full-time career in sales and a baby on the way, I was determined to chase my dream. After the birth of my daughter, I persuaded my husband to transform our entire basement into a gym. What used to be a playroom and living space for our family, quickly grew into Tiffany’s Training.
Without a business plan, trainers, or a loan to support the growth of the gym, Tiffany’s Training quickly evolved.
Our first expansion was in 2018 when we expanded our circuit to a 9-station small group training gym, adding 3 more people into each class.
With each month thereafter my little training “hobby job” was turning into a real business. I hired my first trainer in March 2018, and by September we had a team of 4 trainers and a full schedule.
After working 3 jobs around the clock for over a year, we signed our first lease in October 2018 and moved into our first brick and mortar in December.
From the beginning of my adventure and to this day I’ve been surrounded by an amazing community and team who continue to support my business and my dream. I wake up every day thankful for this experience and excited to see what the future holds!
Tiffany’s Training is more than just a gym. It’s a small community of people all working towards similar goals and motivating one another to be healthy.
